Jenna Dinstell, DVM
EMERGENCY VETERINARIAN
Dr. Jenna Dinstell was born and raised in the San Francisco East Bay Area. She became interested in medicine at a very young age after being inspired by her father, a pediatric hospitalist. Dr. Dinstell obtained her bachelor of science in Animal Biology from UC Davis with a research emphasis in medical and veterinary entomology. Dr. Dinstell also obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of California Davis.
Following graduation, Dr. Dinstell completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgical internship at VCA West Los Angeles, where she enjoyed a strong emphasis on emergency medicine and critical care. For the past 5 years, Dr. Dinstell has worked in general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine in Hawaii. Her special interests include emergency and internal medicine, but primarily Dr. Dinstell enjoys client education and a collaborative approach to providing excellent care.
Dr. Dinstell moved to Fort Collins in 2022 to be closer to family and resides with her two dogs (a husky mix and an Italian Spinone). Outside the hospital, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, SUP, and finding new places to eat with friends.
