Nina Garbino Pappert, DVM MS
EMERGENCY VETERINARIAN
Dr. Pappert was born in Southern California. At a young age, she realized she couldn’t live on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland when she grew up, so she decided she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her family moved to Fort Collins when she was 6, and she attended Colorado State University for her bachelor’s, master’s, and DVM degrees. After graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. Nina has experience in both emergency and general practice in the Northern Colorado and Denver area. Her areas of interest include critical care, anesthesia, chronic pain management, polytrauma, and exotic animal medicine.
Dr. Pappert and her husband are owned by three cats, two dogs, and one baby, born in 2019.
