Claire Tucker, DVM, DACVECC, MPH, PhD

Born and raised in Colorado, I am so excited to be a part of the veterinary team at Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists! I was a French and Biology major at Colorado College, with time spent as a dolphin trainer, a burrito roller, and a repairer of stringed instruments. After that, I became a long-term CSU Ram, achieving two master’s degrees and my veterinary degree in 2019. I completed my rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver and returned for my Emergency and Critical Care Residency at CSU.

I earned my PhD at CSU in October 2025, studying the dog as a natural animal model for human trauma. My research interests include hemorrhage resuscitation, traumatic brain injury, CPR, team dynamics, and communication. I am active in training human health first responders to assist veterinary patients and in the Veterinary Committee on Trauma to improve trauma patients care nationally.

I love living in Northern Colorado, and you can often catch me out and about, running on the trails, swimming at Horsetooth, trying new restaurants, and seeing live music. My wife, Jade, is a Loveland Firefighter, and we are committed to serving our community by protecting human and animal health. We have two goofy dogs, Trip and Honey, and two lively cats, Toast and Sue Bird. Outside of all of that, I love reading, boxing, snowboarding, puzzles and gardening.

I am looking forward to meeting you and providing excellent care and collaboration in your time of need.
