Emily Janik, DVM
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Medical Oncology
I was born and raised in Lyons, Colorado, and graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Following graduation, I completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I then pursued a three-year medical oncology residency at the University of Georgia, and became a board certified oncologist in 2024.
I am passionate about advancing cancer care for pets and providing personalized and compassionate support for pets and their families. My oncologic interests include feline medicine, palliative care, and cancer immunotherapy.
I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, crafting, and reading and spending free time with my partner, Dylan. Our family includes three cats, Rum Raisin, Saya, and Ansel, and our crazy dog, Hazel.
