Jennifer Lowry, DVM, MS
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Radiology
Originally from Los Angeles, I’m a 1987 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After a wonderful internship year in Santa Cruz, CA, at a privately-owned veterinary specialty practice, I moved to Fort Collins for my CSU radiology residency and masters degree.
I became a board certified veterinary radiologist in 1991, and spent the next 3 years in academia, first at UC Davis, and then at University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. My heart remained in Colorado and I returned for good in 1994.
Through the ’90’s and 2000’s, I owned a mobile radiology practice serving northern Colorado, providing mobile ultrasounds, radiology continuing education and x-ray interpretations to the local veterinary community. It was such a pleasure knowing and working with so many excellent veterinarians throughout our area! Concurrently, I taught part-time for about 12 years, at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and had the honor to introduce ultrasound to veterinary students, and to train radiology residents in ultrasound.
In 2013, Dr. Tara Britt and I teamed up to establish Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists. Having the Four Seasons radiology department be the standard of diagnostic imaging excellence is my focus!
I continue to call Fort Collins my home sweet home, enjoying family life, all the outdoorsy activities I can muster, and playing violin in a string quartet on weekends.
