Meredith Burket, DVM - Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists

Meredith Burket, DVM

Hi there! I’m Meredith Burket, one of the emergency veterinarians here at Four Seasons. I’m a Colorado native, born in Greeley, CO. I graduated from Greeley West High School (1997, go Spartans!). I then attended Colorado State University and obtained a BS in Biology with a minor in Anatomy/Neurobiology in 2002.

My veterinary career started by working as a kennel tech at a local veterinary practice. I was fortunate to have some great veterinarian and technician mentors, and was able to work my way up the ranks to veterinary technician. I then started working at a local emergency clinic, prior to being accepted into veterinary school.

I graduated with my DVM from Colorado State University in 2007. I had learned to love emergency medicine and this inspired me to pursue a one-year rotating internship which I completed at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver. My passion for Emergency and Critical Care continued and I stayed on as a staff emergency doctor at Alameda for the next 6 years.

I’m proud to be an original staff member at Four Seasons since its opening in 2014, joining a team of awesome women owners, amazing veterinarians and wonderful technicians and support staff. It has been an extremely fulfilling experience being part of this growing, innovative and caring practice.

When not at work I love to spend time with my husband, kiddos, family and friends. We spend our time on lots of kids soccer and hockey, as well as boating, camping, skiing/snowboarding, and attending as many Colorado Avalanche games and as much live music as we can fit in!
